These natural, sustainable and beautiful wooden soap holders are handcrafted from recycled scrap timber (cedar) in Gippsland, Victoria, with a natural organic plant oil finish.
Cedar is known for its antibacterial & anti fungal properties (mould & slime won’t grow).
Note: Some tannin may leach out of the darker Cedar timber over time when it’s wet for long periods. This is harmless, tea coloured water and can easily be wiped away with a tissue, preferably before it dries. Eventually this should stop, it’s just the natural cedar oils (tree juice) coming out of the timber. If you find they discolour unevenly just give them a wash a bit more often, eventually the discolouration stops and evens out.
Clean regularly as needed with a cloth or gentle brush and warm water, and leave to completely dry in the sun or somewhere dry.
